Technology of automated design of 3D models from vectorized photographs
Abstract
The purpose of the proposed technology is to increase the degree of automation of the process of constructing 3D geometric models through automatic vectorization of color images and drawings. This reduces routine phases of the work of the designer-constructor. The article describes experimental sample design of 3D geometric models from scanned sketches, and example of creating from photographs, face and profile models of the human head with a portrait similarity.
