Control of Surface Radiation Budget Using Spectral Approach

Yakunin M.A.

Abstract

A new method for solving a number of problems related to the study of the radiation budget of the Earth based on MODTRAN and spectral approach is presented. Simple solutions are given that allow to calculate the upward energy flux and its spectrum at the top of atmosphere, and to retrieve spectral albedo of the surface.
