Peculiarities of spiroid gear design based on unified gear-cutting tools

Abstract

The questions of the spiroid gear design on the basis of unified tools are considered. Peculiarities of parameters’ assigning in working and operating meshing are designated for a given generating worm. Defects of localized contact are described. The influence of variable parameters’ change on a degree of contact localization and operational characteristics is indicated.
