Calculation and simulation of transients during surge current test of tantalum capacitors

The mathematical model of transients during charging of tantalum capacitors is created. Transients are calculated using Mathcad. The effect of frequency response on transients is revealed. The effect of equivalent circuit of tantalum capacitors on results of transients calculation is analyzed.
