Abstract

In the paper a new technique and system of searching for drawings and schemes by a sample image (draft, sketch) is presented. The feature of the technique is the representation of drawing images in the form of four types of graphs, matching and evaluating the similarity of patterns using a beam graph, and the use of an extended search dialog model. The technique allows increasing the efficiency of processes of analyzing and applying existing solutions at designing new products. Examples of operation of the proposed system are provided.
