Abstract

In order to validate the mathematical model of temperature distribution along the length of the pressing mechanism of a single-screw extruder, a number of exploratory experiments has been carried out using the temperature recording device (infrared radiation measurement) with visual observation of the temperature variation (thermal imaging).
