Determining the Allowable Range of Rolling Body Radius in Design of Transmission with Intermediate Rolling Bodies and Free Iron Ring

Abstract

The equation was obtained to determine the allowable range of rolling body radius with account of adjacency and assembly. The paper presents the analysis of changing the allowable range according to initial parameters of a transmission with intermediate rolling bodies and free iron ring. On the base of this analysis the variation of the rolling body radius and its range is confirmed to be dependent on the eccentricity rather than the number of rolling bodies.
