Abstract

The paper deals with the problem of snow stiffness research. There is the description of the test bench that was created by scientists of NSTU for experimental research of the snow stiffness. The results of the snow cover study are presented. There is the explanation of equations that are increasing the validity of simulation of interaction process between vehicle’s movers and the snow cover as well as estimation of vehicle’s passing ability and energy efficiency.
