Abstract

One of the most relevant techniques in energy conservation is the use of alternative energy sources, in particular biogas formed as a result of anaerobic digestion in the digesters. The intensity and stability of the biogas yield increases with the rational organization of a homogeneous distribution within the bioreactor. This article describes how to create a mathematical model of the mixing process in the digester for further implementation within the software ANSYS.
