Abstract

We consider the problem of diagnosing the level of development of logical thinking of students in the study of initial sections of the course of higher mathematics. The test approach was selected as a tool for diagnosing. We discuss the results of the pedagogical experiment conducted in the group of first-year students. We give methodical recommendations, which can contribute to more successful development of logical thinking.
