Modern Development of Mortgage Insurance in the Russian Federation

Abstract

This paper examines the state of the mortgage insurance market in the Russian Federation at the present stage, its dynamics and factors that impede its development. As an object of research, mortgage insurance participants, namely insurance companies, creditors and borrowers, act. The authors of the paper use analytical, statistical and correlation models and methods of investigation. As part of the paper, there are references to the legal framework, data from the State Statistics Service, and rating agency data. The authors identify the main problems within the framework of mortgage insurance, and propose activities for the development and modernization of this direction.
