Abstract

Reconstruction of residential buildings is a strategic direction of solutions to the housing problem. It allows not only to prolong the life of residential houses, but also to improve their quality, transforming the appearance of cities and towns. Simultaneously, during the reconstruction and overhaul it becomes possible to significantly increase the total area of residential buildings, create new types of housing and premises of other significance in them by the increase in the total area for filling buildings, balconies and loggias, as well as the addition of new themes to the reconstructed buildings. The purpose of this study is to establish the basic preferences of residents, for which reconstruction is planned. It is necessary to establish the desired repair work, which is predominant from the point of view of the tenants. The goal was achieved thanks to the theoretical methods of collecting information, that is, the questioning of tenants. The results of the questionnaire are presented in a multi-attributive model, which consists of three levels, depending on their need and importance in terms of tenants. These levels include those works that, according to the results of the survey, were most often chosen by residents. Also the personal opinion of each tenant was taken into account in relation to the reconstruction, as well as related repair and restoration work to improve the living conditions of residents. In conclusion, it was found that the program for the comprehensive reconstruction of a whole micro district is applicable in our city, as well as in any other locality. This confirms the willingness of the tenants themselves to actively participate in such a program to improve living conditions.
