Indicators of Assessment of Diversification Efficiency for the Enterprises of the Defense Industrial Complex

Abstract

Results of the analysis of the purposes of the enterprises of defense industry complex in the course of diversification on the basis of which the complex system of diversification efficiency indicators and also monitoring indicators is developed are presented in the paper. Questions of formation of market and public value of the enterprises of the defense industry complex (DIC), taking into account their social importance and their role in economy of the Russian Federation are investigated. Need of accounting of the results of diversification caused by development of institutional, innovative, investment, marketing and scientific and technological activities is proved. The purposes of diversification of defense industry enterprises are proved: ensuring defense capability of the state; ensuring social stability of the state; stable and sustainable economic development of defense industry enterprises. In the context of the purposes the groups of indicators of diversification efficiency assessment are systematized including: equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by modern VVST, creation of new productions, increase in employment of the population, ensuring the stable standard of living of citizens, ensuring development of territories, decrease in dependence on the state defensive order (SDO); entry into the new markets; increase in competitiveness; formation of the balanced product portfolio; innovative activity, capitalization and investment attractiveness, coordination of interests of military and civil production (transfer of technologies), increase in mobility, flexibility and adaptation to market conditions, strategic nature of business.
