Main Technological Competences of Organizations of the Conventional Arms Industry of the Russian Federation

The main technological competencies of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation producing conventional weapons are considered. In the study, generalization, systematization, formalization, logical methods, and also methods of comparative analysis were used to study the main technological competencies of the Russian military-industrial complex enterprises producing conventional weapons. The production of conventional weapons is one of the high-tech sectors of the Russian economy that ensure the country’s defense industry safety. With the transition of the sphere of production of conventional weapons to innovative development and the achievement of the maximum level of technological competencies, the need to identify the achieved technological competencies of industry organizations increases. The main technological competencies of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex producing conventional weapons are considered: design and engineering, production and assembly of products, communications and control. The dynamics of changes in technological competencies for the period 2014-2017 is described and then evaluated. The main directions of development of technological competencies that contribute to the transition of the industry to innovative development and the achievement of the maximum level of technological competencies are identified. In order to ensure the further innovative development of the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of the Russian Federation producing conventional weapons, it seems expedient to continue the development, modernization and production of a promising range of high-tech civilian products. The practical significance of the analysis by the author of the achieved technological competencies and the main directions of development of the technological competencies of defense-industrial enterprises producing conventional weapons contributes to improving the management of the activities of industry organizations.References
