Abstract

Modeling of three-phase power transformer magnetic field by finite element method is carried out. Influence of loading current type on magnetic core reversal is researched. Redistribution of magnetic flux at nonlinear loading transformer operation leads to change of magnetic reversal mode, increase of eddy currents density in steel, increase of losses in a magnetic core and magnetic system overheat temperature.
