REPORTED SPEECH IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH AND ITS PRESENTATION USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The article presents a discription of ways of expressing reported speech in Russian and English, its features, similarities and differences and presentation of this material with the help of computer methods and tools, used in modern didactic process. The study describes educational platforms Stepik and Google Classroom, their common characteristics, features of use and creating online courses. The relevance of this work is related to the necessity for practical application of information technologies, used in creation of electronic educational resources, to the necessity for integrating special tools into the learning process to solve linguistic problems. Due to the constant interest to the questions of comparative analysis of Russian and English grammar, the article presents linguistic material on the basis of which identical courses on platforms Stepik and Google Classroom were created. The result of the Web-systems using aimed at development of online courses is the comparison. In the course of the work, it was revealed that the differences between platforms Stepik and Google Classroom are in using different methods of courses creation and orientation on different target audiences. The article concludes that learning such features of reported speech as connecting parts of a complex sentence using different parts of speech or the sequence of tenses is being simplified by application of information technologies in didactic process.
